If you're hoping to get health insurance through Covered California starting January 1, today is the last day to sign up. More than 150,000 Californians have signed up so far, mostly with big-name statewide insurers like Kaiser and Anthem Blue Cross. In San Francisco, the smallest insurer on the exchange has gotten a lot of interest as well. The Chinese Community Health Plan is a local HMO which until now has catered almost exclusively to Chinese Americans.
