Thanks to Drought, Lawmakers Inundated With Water Proposals

California's lack of water is a big topic in Sacramento, where lawmakers are pushing to do something at the state level. But first they're trying to distance themselves from a massive water bond that doesn?t seem to match with the more immediate needs of the state in a drought year, and could face hurdles at the ballot box. Two alternate proposals are working their way through the Legislature. We sort out the details with Sacramento Bureau Chief Scott Detrow.
