The final numbers are in. Covered California officials say nearly 1.4 million people signed up for health insurance on the state's marketplace by Tuesday's deadline. Almost 2 million more people enrolled in Medi-Cal, the state's insurance program for low-income Californians. That brings the total number of Californians signed up under the Affordable Care Act to more than 3.3 million.
