Toyota is consolidating its U.S. corporate management in Plano, Texas. Industry analysts say the move makes a lot of sense for the auto giant. But it's a big blow for Southern California, specifically for Torrance, where Toyota employs 5,300 people. The company estimates more than half of those jobs will move in the next three years.
