Most of us have a sense this kind of thing happens a lot -- but it's not legal. California's labor commissioner paid a visit to Fresno on Tuesday to promote a new ad campaign aimed at immigrant workers, explaining they're entitled to demand minimum wage, overtime and meal and rest breaks.
