Now, the health care giant is upping the ante in a hostile takeover bid for a rival giant, Gentiva. And today, Kindred is getting sued on behalf of hundreds of workers across California. The class-action lawsuit claims Kindred systematically violated state labor law by shorting workers on wages, overtime and breaks.
