California Officials Aren't Following Own Call for Water Conservation
State regulators meet Tuesday to look at the latest report card on how California cities are measuring up in their efforts to save water. Three years into a drought that's already being called "historic," officials throughout the state are urging Californians to conserve water at home. But are they walking their talk? The Center for Investigative Reporting found that many of those who regulate water are using far more than the average California household.
