Humboldt County Set to Decide on Banning GMO Production

Two years ago, a statewide proposition that would have required labeling of foods containing genetically modified organisms failed by a slim margin. That measure had wide support in Humboldt County. On Tuesday, residents there will vote on Measure P, which would ban the production of GMO crops in their region.
