Cal State Approves Executive Pay Raise, Students Protest 'Success Fees'
The trustees of the California State University approved a 3 percent pay raise for executives at their meeting in Long Beach Thursday. They also approved a budget for the 23-campus system that counts on more than $200 million in state funding. New fees on students were also a topic for debate at Thursday's meeting, which drew a group of students who chanted and banged drums in protest.
