Water Board Weighs Phasing Out Diablo Canyon Cooling System

California's Water Board held a hearing Tuesday to discuss whether or not PG&E should have to phase out the cooling system at Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant. Doing so would comply with state policy to bring California in line with part of the federal Clean Water Act. The plant provides about 10 percent of the state's power.
