Major Storm Moves South, Causes Evacuations
The state's biggest storm in five years is now marching south. In Glendora, east of Los Angeles, residents near hillsides bare from a recent wildfire are bracing for mudslides. In Northern California, the much-needed rain brought flooding and power outages.
Unproductive Session Marks End of Era for Calif. Congressional Delegation
Friday is the last day of this year's Congressional session in the nation's capitol. It was a largely unproductive one by all accounts, especially on two major issues facing California: immigration reform and drought legislation. KPCC's Washington correspondent Kitty Felde says lawmakers are likely to take up both in the new year -- but without some longtime legislators.
