The dream of having a pro football team in the huge Los Angeles market has gotten closer to reality. Inglewood has already approved a new stadium. In Carson, where the Chargers and Raiders could build a stadium, supporters will start collecting signatures this week to put the plan to a vote. Those teams are looking for new homes, in part because their home cities are reluctant to supply the funding that has traditionally made stadiums possible. So how can the small cities of Inglewood and Carson pull this off?
