While basketball fans were celebrating the Golden State Warriors in Oakland Friday morning, the State Legislature was busy passing a new state budget, and they did it with plenty of time before the July 1st deadline. All of it coming after it looked for a while there like Jerry Brown and his fellow Democrats were on a collision course over spending. But then, a budget agreement.
