Battle Over Physician-Assisted Suicide Heads to Court

Three doctors who care for terminally ill patients will go to court in San Francisco Friday. They filed a lawsuit in February to allow them to prescribe lethal medication to their patients who request it. The doctors want the judge to allow them to practice physician-assisted suicides now, while the case is pending.
