Parenting is tough. But living in an isolated area with no money or transportation can make things overwhelming. In our series Vital Signs, we meet people around the state grappling with how to take care of themselves and their families. Today we head to Fort Bragg, in Mendocino County, where we meet a mother who turned her struggles into life-saving lessons for other parents. We caught up with Jade Aldrich as she checked in on her student Elcie Cooper.
