A host of industries stand to reap big rewards from a trade pact reached this week by the U.S., Japan and 10 other Pacific Rim countries. The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) aims to lower trade barriers and loosen intellectual property laws. It also promises tougher labor standards, among other things.
