Los Angeles' Olympic bid committee has less than two years to convince international organizers L.A. is the best place to host the 2024 Games. One argument in their favor: L.A. hosted a very successful Olympics in 1984. If there's one thing we know about sequels, though, it's that they're rarely as good as the original.
