Appointment of Disney CEO Could Increase Pull of L.A. for NFL Teams
Three teams in the National Football League are vying for permission to return to Los Angeles, which hasn't had a professional NFL team since 1994. Yesterday, city officials from Oakland, San Diego and St. Louis made their case to retain their teams before an NFL panel. That followed an announcement from the Chargers and Raiders that they've appointed Disney CEO Bob Iger to oversee their proposed stadium development in Carson, south of L.A.
