That stubborn natural gas leak just north of Los Angeles that's been spewing methane into the air for over 100 days is now officially capped. Southern California Gas Co. says the enormous gas well that sprung the leak will be out of service permanently. And a safety review of more than 100 other wells means the company will be unable to use the area for gas storage for awhile. But regulators say they have a back-up plan should energy supplies run short.
