L.A. County Sees Bump in Hate Crimes Against Muslims
Nearly a dozen hate crimes targeting Muslims and people wrongly thought to be Muslim were reported in Los Angeles County in the two months following the Paris and San Bernardino terror attacks. That's compared to just one such case during the same period a year ago. L.A. County established a task force last month to promote stronger relations and cooperation between police and Muslim communities.

Yosemite Name Changes Take Effect
Visitors who pull into Yosemite National Park will be greeted by new signs today. Curry Village is now Half Dome Village. The Ahwahnee Hotel is now the Majestic Yosemite Hotel. There are more changes, as part of an ongoing trademark dispute between the Park and the outgoing concessions operator, Delaware North, which claims the trademark on those names.
