In Calaveras County, a group of volunteers is unloading 200 bales of straw and spreading it onto pitch-black farmland. It was scorched by last September's Butte Fire, making it tough for farmers to grow anything there again. We follow them as they try to repair the soil for the ongoing series, "California Foodways."
