Legal Age to Smoke in California Raised to 21
California will become the second state in the nation after Hawaii to raise its smoking age to 21. Gov. Jerry Brown signed the bill into law Wednesday night. Brown also signed a bill that would regulate e-cigarettes. Both are part of a sweeping package of tobacco regulations.
