'Needle Has Not Moved' on Increasing Diversity on UC Campuses
More Latino students are attending the University of California. But UC campuses still have work to do in recruiting and building African-American and Native American enrollment. The UC Regents discussed the findings from a new campus diversity report on Wednesday in Sacramento.

California Coastal Commission Under Fire Again
The California Coastal Commission -- the state agency that regulates coastal development -- has been in the spotlight lately. In February, the Commission fired its executive director Charles Lester. Environmentalists and coastal access advocates cried foul, claiming the agency was cozying up to developers. The Commission said it was a management issue. Now, the Coastal Commission is under fire again, this time for its ex-parte conversations, where commissioners talk privately with stakeholders. We talk with environmental reporter Molly Peterson.
