Today, a federal judge will hear arguments regarding a $100 million settlement that Uber stuck with drivers in California and Massachusetts in April. The settlement allowed Uber to continue classifying drivers as independent contractors, which is essential to the success of their business model. But that deal is facing criticisms from some of the original plaintiffs who are going to ask the judge not to approve the settlement.
