Analyst: Surge in Younger Voters Failed to Materialize in California Primary
Voter turnout did not meet expectations in the California primary. Right now, turnout stands at about 33 percent, though the number could increase as more ballots are counted. People under 35 made up more than half of the 2.3 million new voters who registered before the primary.
