New Center in Los Angeles Helps Low-Income Folks File Taxes
Los Angeles County voted to set-up a new center to help low-income residents "file taxes" and access bank accounts this week. It was modeled after a similar program in San Francisco. KPCC's Ben Bergman has the details.

California Ranks at the Bottom of List for Sheltering Homeless Youth
California ranks at the bottom of the list when it comes to sheltering homeless youth or those folks between the ages of 18 to 24.
Advocates had hoped that this year's state budget, which includes a big focus on homelessness would address that. But KQED's Farida Jhabvala Romero reports that they were sorely disappointed.
