We start with a new museum in Los Angeles. It's not filled with paintings or sculpture, but with relics of the broken-hearted. It's called the Museum of Broken Relationships. The idea started when Croatian artists Olinka Vistica and Drazen Grubisic ended their romance in 2003. They were left with ordinary, seemingly insignificant items they'd shared that really only meant something to them. And they did what artists do: They turned them into art. Along with pieces donated from friends' failed love affairs, they opened the first branch of the museum in Zagreb. And now, as reporter Peter Gilstrap tells us, a new L.A. branch of the museum has found a home in the building that once housed the lingerie shop Frederick's of Hollywood.
