Congressional Republicans took the stage at the GOP Convention in Cleveland Tuesday night, to make their case against Hillary Clinton. Among those given a prime-time speaking spot was Kevin McCarthy, the Bakersfield congressman who almost became speaker of the House. Still, McCarthy had little to say about Donald Trump, who on Tuesday clinched the GOP's nomination for president.
