Photos: San Francisco Veterans Memorial Finalists Chosen

In November, the San Francisco Arts Commission selected three design proposals as finalists for a San Francisco Veterans Memorial, to be located across the street from City Hall. Today, those designs were made public, and they'll be on display in the Veterans Building main lobby at 401 Van Ness Avenue until June 22. The winner is slated to be formally dedicated on Veterans Day, Nov 11, 2012.

Am I crazy, or is The Wreath of Remembrance a titch reminiscent of Starfleet Academy, which, as everyone knows, is located in San Francisco, circa 2300.
