Some East L.A. Locals Worry About USC's Plan for Biotech Expansion
We begin today in East Los Angeles, where the University of Southern California is working to make the area a hub for biotech research. A couple years ago the L.A. County Board of Supervisors agreed to develop a biotech master plan, one that would compete with similar efforts in San Francisco and San Diego.

Supporters and opponents of California's capital punishment law agree on one thing: The death penalty system isn't working. The November ballot offers voters two completely different solutions. Proposition 62, which we're looking at today, would ban the death penalty in the state.
