Republican Congressman Steve Knight has been called the most vulnerable incumbent in California. The district he represents includes the Antelope Valley desert towns, Palmdale and Lancaster, north of Los Angeles. Since the last presidential election, the area has become much more ethnically diverse, and that means, more Democratic.
