As President Barack Obama enters his last weeks in the Oval Office, some allies are scrambling for ways to preserve one of his signature policies, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). That has granted work permits and protection from deportation to young undocumented immigrants. More than 200,000 of them live in California. Now, a group of congressmembers are trying a last ditch effort: they're calling on Obama to issue a presidential pardon to DACA recipients.
