These California Ranchers Welcome Trump's Policies. Here's Why
We just passed the halfway point of President Trump's first 100 days in office. And we thought it would be a good time to check in with some folks in rural California -- farmers and ranchers. We wanted to ask them about Trump's proposed changes to things like immigration -- and longstanding environmental policies. KQED Science Reporter Lesley McClurg takes us to Tehama County.

An Unusual Friendship That Began at the Grocery Store
Our partnership with the Henry Madden Library at Fresno State and StoryCorps continues with a conversation partly in American Sign Language. It's between Armando Rivera, who is deaf, and his friend, Paul Barnett. They met by chance at a grocery store in the early 1980s. Armando taught Paul how to sign. They've been friends ever since.
