Somehow this escaped me this morning, but luckily one of the serious journalists here brought it to my attention.

As reported by Perez Hilton, the San Francisco Examiner, and soon undoubtedly every publication short of Jane's Defence Weekly, on March 29 Britney Spears will be performing on "Good Morning America" -- live from the Castro!

No I am not recounting the content of a dream I had last night. Here's the promo:

The Examiner wrote this about the coming event:

Rumor has it the stage will be set in front of The Castro Theatre for the 10 a.m. performance.

Oh yeah? Well rumor also has it that on March 29 I will make certain I'm not driving, biking, or perhaps even walking anywhere near The Castro Theatre at 10 a.m. As a longtime resident of that area or its surroundings, I haven't been more excited for the neighborhood since the days of Marky Mark. But it is going to be a mob scene...
