The tiny Central Valley town of Firebaugh has a population of about 8,000 people. It's mostly immigrants, many of whom came there to work in the fields. And yet, 97% of its young people graduate from high school.

That statistic is what got San Francisco Federal Reserve Bank president Mary Daly interested in visiting Firebaugh. The town is the focus on her new podcast series Zip Code Economies.
