Some of the world’s biggest investors have a pitch for San Francisco-based utility Pacific Gas & Electric. Late last night, they put out a proposal they say would allow the embattled utility to exit bankruptcy protection within a year. That's a faster timeline than the track PG&E appears to be on right now. The plan also includes two funds for wildfire victims.
