The Children of Paradise Face a Long Road Ahead
Firefighting efforts and wet weather have rendered the 150,000-acre Camp Fire 90 percent contained. But this fire leveled nearly the entire town of Paradise, killing over 80 people and destroying thousands of homes. Paradise has a population of roughly 26,000 people. More than 4,000 of those are children under the age of 18. KQED's Peter Arcuni spoke to middle school students from Paradise to see how they're holding up.
