Delta Fire Continues to Spread in Northern California
A nearly 50-mile stretch of Interstate 5 remained closed over the weekend as firefighters worked to get the Delta Fire under control in Shasta and Trinity counties. The highway reopened Monday morning, but with traffic restricted to one lane in each direction for about 17 miles. San Francisco Plans Safe Injection Site to Help Prevent Opioid Deaths
San Francisco could be the first city in the United States to provide a safe injection site for drug users who use needles. Many public health experts say these sites are needed to help stop deaths from opioids.
