Fires in Mendocino and Lake Counties Continue to Rage
The complex fire burning across Mendocino and Lake counties has covered almost 95,000 acres and is 24 percent contained. Residents in both counties have seen huge fires in the last few years, some having to evacuate multiple times.

U.S. Appeals Court Rules Trump 'Sanctuary Cities' Order Illegal
The latest salvo in the fight between the Trump administration and so-called sanctuary cities comes from a federal appellate court in San Francisco. The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Wednesday that the president doesn't have the power to withhold federal funds from cities, counties and now states that don't cooperate with immigration enforcement.
