Asylum Seekers' Stories Bolstered by Oakland Clinic

As new federal policies make it harder to gain asylum in the US, some asylum applicants are trying to increase their chances with help from a special medical clinic in Oakland.

Tech Workers, Anxious over Controversial Projects, Get Organized

Tech workers are beginning to protest against their employers over what the companies are making and who they’re working with. Employees at Google spoke out against work on military drones. Salesforce and Microsoft workers are criticizing contracts with immigration agencies like ICE. More and more tech workers are joining an organizing group called the Tech Workers Coalition, which is trying to give a voice to workers who are heavily discouraged by their companies from speaking out.
