Garcia has been on leave from the Legislature since February. Yreka Republicans Invite Malheur Occupation Leader to Speak at Fundraiser
Two years ago, Ammon Bundy led a standoff between armed extremists and the government at the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in eastern Oregon. Ammon is the son of Cliven Bundy, an anti-government extremist who has based his movement on a brand of anti-federalism infused with apocalyptic Mormon beliefs. Now, the Bundys are back in the news -- this time here in California.
