A state lawmaker is adding language to an existing gun control measure that would raise the legal age to buy a rifle or shotgun in California from 18 to 21.

College Financial Aid Applications for California Dreamers Down This Year

Since undocumented students got the chance to apply for state financial aid in 2012, application numbers have gone up every year. Except for this year. Today is the deadline to apply, and at last count application numbers were down close to 20 percent. That's despite a major campaign to get the word out.
