The death of Al Davis on Saturday at the age of 82 ended an epic career in football. After briefly coaching at USC and for the LA Chargers, Davis became the coach of the Oakland Raiders in 1963. He would eventually buy a majority stake in that team, which he moved from Oakland to Los Angeles and back again, collecting 3 Super Bowl titles along the way.
