SF Ballot Measure Proposes Saturday Voting
Elections in California have always been on Tuesdays. But there's a push in San Francisco to change that. This past weekend volunteers began collecting signatures for a November ballot measure that would allow voters to cast ballots in next year's mayoral election on either Tuesday November 8th or the Saturday before.
