The California Republican Party is holding its spring convention this weekend in Santa Clara, at a time when the GOP has a spring back in its step, at least nationwide. But here in California, Republican candidates for governor and the U.S. Senate are hurling verbal bricks at each other, trying to prove who the real conservative is in each race. We get a preview of the convention from Sacramento Bureau Chief John Myers.
