Back in the '80s, movies like "Breakin'" and "Beat Street" brought street culture into the mainstream. Rival dance crews battled it out on screen. Those movies were campy, but they were also influential to teens across the country -- and not just in big cities like L.A. and New York. In fact, they helped a slew of Hmong refugee kids in Fresno figure out a way to belong -- and stand out. Those kids, now all grown up, are sharing their stories thanks to a new oral history project about hip-hop.
