Unless contract negotiations succeed over the weekend, Bay Area Rapid Transit workers have given formal notice they may strike again in time for the Monday morning commute. This follows a four-day strike last month, and despite the intervention of a state mediator, the two sides are still far apart on wages and health and pension benefits. Protesters rallied in Oakland Thursday night in support of workers.
