Jesusita Fire Update
Roughly 30,000 people have been displaced by the Jesusita Fire in the hills above Santa Barbara. Officials expanded mandatory evacuation orders last night. Milder-than-expected winds yesterday allowed firefighters to make some progress, but officials say the wildfire is still spreading and unpredictable.

The grassroots army that helped elect President Obama is mobilizing for a new campaign to enact his agenda. Organizing for America, the new phase of the Obama campaign, kicked off a listening tour in California last week to marshal the troops. The troops say they're as fired up as ever.
