The U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis reports California's real GDP actually grew four tenths of a percent last year. That mildly good news is unlikely to make a dent in the state's budget crisis. Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has ordered state agencies to cancel their orders for everything from office supplies to fuel for state cars.
