This week in a courtroom in the United Arab Emirates, a trial was underway for a California auto parts dealer charged with multiple counts of terrorism. Lawyers for Naji Hamdan say he signed a confession to the charges because he was tortured. In the meantime, here in California lawyers revealed that a federal grand jury has launched an investigation into Hamdan's business dealings.
